Welcome to Eaglescliffe Medical Practice

New website!

We hope to use this site as a way of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for all information relating to our practice. We will keep it current with any news, developments and details that are relevant to the practice and our patients.

As well as a source of information about our Practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use the website as a useful resource with links to other reliable websites for health related information.

This is a purpose built, fully accessible building, opened in 2009, with car parking on site.  We share the centre with other health personnel employed by Hartlepool and Stockton-On-Tees CCG, many of whom are involved in nursing and health promotion.

Computer System Change over - 29th June

Double Medication from 16th May - 1st June 2022

Just to give you all an update. We are busy planning a change over in computer systems at the end of June. We want to minimise disruption during the period before that.
To help with this, we will be providing automatic double repeat medications. This will be for the majority of medication bar certain medications that may be dangerous in large quantities (strong painkillers, medications that require regular blood tests and also anti-depressant type medications).
We will keep you informed as best as we can to minimise the impact of any changes.
The change in system will allow better communication with local services, making us more efficient and provide better patient care.
Thank you for your patience, we will keep you updated as we approach this time.

COVID 19 Information:

Below are some useful resources surrounding COVID 19 and we will keep this up to date

Mask policy - please wear one in surgery!

At Eaglescliffe Medical Practice we will continue to wear PPE including masks and ask that everyone attending the practice continues to wear a mask or face covering. By doing so we are protecting you, ourselves and patients who are clinically vulnerable or unable to be vaccinated.

IF you choose not to wear a mask, please make this known when you have been given a face to face appointment as we may have to make alternative arrangements in order to protect patients and staff. This may be attending when the practice is empty or waiting outside for administrative information.

Thank you for your ongoing support - by taking these precautions we are able to remain open to provide healthcare to our patients without risk of infection.

Get vaccinated - local walk in clinics!

We will endaevor to vaccinate as many people as we can, but supplies are limited and we cannot guarantee this. Walk in clinics have been set up around Teeside to help with this, whether you need first, second or booster. Drop in to get vaccinated.

We will get an automatic update of your vaccination, so there is no need to tell us!
